AdYO Maestro Series 3: Mastersinger

An evening of song with Wagner’s comic opera The Mastersinger of Nuremberg and a new song cycle by Australian art-song master, Calvin Bowman. AdYO 10th Anniversary Gala Concert

10 years ago, in November 2001, AdYO presented its inaugural concert at the Adelaide Town Hall with a performance of Respighi’s Pines of Rome. While celebrating our history we’re delighted to welcome home one of AdYO’s most successful graduates, internationally acclaimed cellist Pei Sian Ng, to perform Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme. In keeping with the festive spirit all three youth orchestras and several guest musicians will be part of this not to be missed event.
