He has conducted and tutored for the Adelaide Youth and Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestras.

David made his opera debut in 2005, conducting Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor for the Bel Canto Opera Company – described by critics as “a first rate opera experience”. A cellist in the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra since 1997, David’s role has expanded to include conducting and directing the orchestra’s highly successful Tea and Symphony concert series. David Sharp will conduct the Adelaide Youth Orchestra for Maestro Series 3 on 16th September.
