AdYO’s youngest string ensemble, Junior Strings is a fantastic training ground for emerging string players.
With plenty of performing opportunities, expert tuition and a fun rehearsal environment, Junior Strings is perfect for young players aged 8-13 (minimum age at commencement of each year’s rehearsals) starting their musical journey.
Violin, viola, cello, double bass.
Equivalent AMEB Grade 3 (these are approximate guidelines and may be lower for certain instruments – please contact us if you’re unsure).
Saturdays from 11.30am to 2pm during school terms at Adelaide University.
Auditions are held in October each year for the following year’s programs, with applications opening in early-mid August.
