AdYO’s senior wind ensemble, Symphonic Winds is the perfect place for experienced wind and brass players.
Performing high-level wind band repertoire, AdYO’s Symphonic Winds suits a wide range of instruments and offers tutorial opportunities with some of SA’s top professional musicians. This ensemble is perfect for dedicated senior players and provides an exciting challenge for its high-level musicians.
Flute, piccolo, oboe, Bb, Eb and bass clarinets, bassoon, saxophones, horn, trumpet, tenor and bass trombone, euphonium, tuba, double bass.
AMEB Grade 4-7 (these are approximate guidelines and may be lower for certain instruments – please contact us if you’re unsure).
Saturdays from 12.45pm to 5.15pm during school terms at Adelaide University.
Auditions are held in October each year for the following year’s programs, with applications opening in early-mid August.
