In AdYO’s ensemble program, you’ll join young musicians from 8 to 24 years of age to rehearse and explore music on Saturdays during school terms. Our flagship youth orchestra, two string ensembles, two wind orchestras and percussion ensemble cater to a range of ages and levels, so there’s something for everyone!
With a team of vibrant and energetic conductors and the support of our team of talented educators, you’ll extend your musical skills by playing exciting music and having unforgettable performance experiences.
By joining AdYO, you’ll:
- have fun with new friends who share your interests
- be part of a year-long program with exciting repertoire that changes every term
- play in multi-age groups with musicians at your level
- perform in multiple concerts throughout the year at iconic venues, including Adelaide Town Hall
- take part in music intensives like workshops or tours, and
- receive training from leading Australian conductors and tutors.
