Your gift will help AdYO purchase a professional-standard bass trombone – a specialist instrument needed for the orchestral repertoire performed by our flagship Youth Orchestra. This instrument has its own distinct part in the low brass section and is a key part of a complete orchestral training experience.
This essential piece of equipment will:
Give the 2024 bass trombone chair-holder the opportunity to develop their skills on a professional-standard instrument,
Allow the whole low brass section to incorporate the colour, tone and range of a bass trombone (a must-have to help develop their ensemble skills), and
Let all the players in our Youth Orchestra – and our audiences – experience the full scope of instrumentation required for so much of our orchestral repertoire.
